I downloaded this the other day. I had some trouble with getting it to work at first, but eventualy it correctly displayed all my photos, it is still a bit slow, but will do the job OK.

Didn`t work... Found MS viewer instead by Dalecfp with average rate 1.0

This thing installed in a snap! But wouldn't work.
Did another Google and found the MS makes one that is free, works with Canon and Nikon raw files and simply integrates with the Windows picture viewer so you can see jpg and raw in the same window.

Find it here:

Very Basic by Stephen Mendez with average rate 3.5

Although this is what it says it is...a viewer with a slideshow option...it really could offer more features and perhaps a converter.

I'd like to see it offer some editing capabilities such as rotate with save capabilities (currently you can rotate but not save from what I was able to ascertain) and a cr2 to jpg converter (currently it makes a small lo res jpg thumbnail of the raw image only). It also wouldn't hurt if it had a print option.

I couldn't figure out how to stop the slideshow and wound up having to wait until it finished. Thank God I only had a few pics in that folder.

I haven't had a whole lot of time to play with it so maybe it does do more, but as I said in the title, it is a very basic viewer as it purports to be. I need a full blown converter to meet my personal needs.

I don't want another photoshop but the thumbnails are so small and so poor that this Raw viewer is unusefull.
So Raw viewer has been deleted immediatly afer the fist testing.

Has the potential to be a really useful program, the format and browsing method are straightforward and familiar. However, though it will preview raw files, it doesn't handle any volume of them well. When trying to view a folder with more than a couple of images it draws heavily on system resources, fails to open a preview of all but the first 5-6 images and freezes with error messages.

The main reason I downloaded it was because a friend sent me a bunch of raw files from her Canon camera and none of my viewers would open them...

This one did the job beautifully. I only have one complaint and that is that it seems to want to become default viewer for everything without asking first...I have selceted programs I like for each of various filetypes. This is the only thing I can think of or have found wrong with it so far. It opened the files I needed to open and let me save to a format I could readily use to edit. You have an excellent product.
